The Weapon Is Here

Looky what showed up in the mail a couple days ago.

The weapon is here!

My new Liquid Logic Jefe kayak is here. Getting this boat down her to Peru was no easy task. I tried to have two different people fly it down when they came to visit us. First my brother tried to bring it and got rejected at the Alaska counter. Then my friends from First Descents tried and got rejected on United. Flying a kayak international isn’t as easy as it use to be. Finally my “go to” soldier at Outdoorplay arranged to have it shipped down via air.

I’ve been wanting to get back into kayaking for a long time now. I’m way fired up to send some of the rivers here in South America. There are some epic runs in Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and of course Chile.

Soleil got her own lifejacket so she can sit in between my legs on the slow moving rivers. I’m stoked to take her paddling on the magic Lake Titicaca as well. I think she’s pretty excited.

The kayaking season down here starts up in April. Can’t wait.

Well, my palms are sweating over this one but I know I can trust you with that angel. I love my Sapphire…when you come to Hood River, you will have to “borrow” a boat and we can have Liquid Logic races in the Bingen Marina:) Soleil is stunning in the pfd!

Bless you and your faimly Bro! We don’t need to meet in person, all you need is a kayak to be on my friends list! YAAAAAAAAAA
